The Mozilla scam
As you probably know, Mozilla is trying to set a world record for most software downloads in 24 hours today. They say that they need to have over 5 million firefox 3 downloads to set the record. There servers are slow today with all the downloads taking place, but what is really happening?
According to their site (which I took a screenshot of) you are actually downloading version 2.0.0.14 While it is most likely a mistake, I find it strange that a community with so many users failed to notice this when they can make such a great browser.
EDIT
Mozilla says that they had a linking problem and that it is now fixed.
