Some of you may have been wondering why I haven’t posted in… a while. I though of many decent excuses but decided I would use the Olympics as my excuse [I figured it was the most easy to believe].

Now, I know this is a tech blog, but I decided I would give a list of the coolest parts Olympics [who doesn’t like lists?].

5. Womens pole vaulting’s Yelena Isinbayeva set the world record for pole vaulting yet again, I believe this is her 24th time to do that.

4. Watching USA gymnastic’s team captain (or whatever she’s called) Alicia Sacramone have an emotional breakdown after falling twice.

3. The USA getting the most medals overall [bronze, silver, and gold] and the second most golds [China had more].

2. When Phelps beat Cavic by 0.01 and was flipping him off and dunking him and stuff.

BTW, for those of you who don’t appreciate sarcasm, the lady talking with him at the end was being sarcastic when she said her last line.

1. Phelps set a ton of world records, I’ll list my favorites;

• Most olympic gold medals held by one person. Ever.
• Most olympic gold medals at a single olympiad.

And for that first one, he passed it by 7.He is officially the greatest olympian of all time, and rumor has been going around that he could get an endorsement deal for millions of dollars, not just in the USA, but anywhere, because he is a global icon.
