Mozilla has set a record at a total of 8 million software downloads. This is not official, but is according to Mozilla. It will take a couple of days until the Guinness World Record Judges confirm this.

As you probably know, Mozilla is trying to set a world record for most software downloads in 24 hours today. They say that they need to have over 5 million firefox 3 downloads to set the record. There servers are slow today with all the downloads taking place, but what is really happening?
